Molly Bertheaud(b.1997) is a Canadian artist, who melds the archaic forms of painting and tapestry, with contemporary techniques to tell modern mythologies. Her phantasmagoric scenes and tapestries reference science fiction/myth, ecology, mortality and femininity. She learned the craft of industrial knitting machines from her mother, who is a knitter. Molly is experienced with various textile techniques like industrial/hand flat knitting machines, felting, sewing, embroidery and more.
