In my work, I meld my paintings with textiles to create modern mythologies. I grew up learning about industrial knitting from my mother. Jacquards were all around me. I followed her to factories around the world always learning about the machines that make the textiles around us.
I am curious about the intersection of old and new technology and how industrialization changed our interaction with time and individuality.
